본센터는 창의적인 집단연구를 통해 응용대수 및 최적화를 주제로 상호연관 분야들간의 크로스오버를 통한 수학이론 연구와 데이터해석 알고리듬 및 최적화 연구의 선도 과학 집단 육성을목표로 하고있다. 수학적 연구분야는 행렬론, 조합론, 그래프이론, 행렬해석, 최적화이론, 부호론, 암호론, 정수론 등과 이러한 이론들이 적용되는 데이터 과학과 정보보안분야 등을 포함한다. 본센터는 특히, 빅데이터 분석과 효율적인 알고리즘을 구현하는 최적화 연구와 조합적인 대상사이의 연관관계에 대한 연구에 초점을 맞추고있다.
The goal of the center is to promote and enhance collaborative research among mathematical scientists and practitioners. The mathematical areas of interest include combinatorial matrix theory, matrix analysis, combinatorics, graph theory, optimization, data analysis, number theory, coding theory, cryptography, and their applications in data science and information security. We aim to lead an innovative interdisciplinary study across conventional fields of applied algebra and optimization. In particular, our center focuses on combinatorial objects and optimization in connection with applications to big data analysis and more efficient algorithms. There are three collaboration research groups:
