Business- and technology-driven innovations require formal concepts, models and techniques towards their realization. The Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management conducts research in this area with a specific focus on business process management, knowledge management, decision support systems, and the semantic web.
오스트리아 빈 경제경영대학의 정보시스템 및 운영관리 학부 산하 연구실입니다. 주로 유럽 각 국 출신의 인공지능, 시맨틱웹, 머신러닝 전문가 20여명 이상으로 구성됐으며 인원상 규모가 큰 연구실에 속합니다. 책임자 및 교수진은 대부분 빈 공대 컴퓨터 공학과 출신이거나 빈 공대에서 교수를 역임한 경력을 가지고 있습니다. 재원의 pool이 넓고 인원이 많기 때문에 빈 공대와 자체적으로 인공지능 및 시맨틱웹 분야에서 소규모 세미나를 자주 개최하고 있으며, 주력 학회는 ESWC (Extended Semantic Web Conference - 前 European Semantic Web Conference) 및 ISWC (International Semantic Web Conference) 입니다.
