본 사업은 미국과의 국제공동연구의 일환으로 수중음향센서 응용과 범위의 현 주소를 미국에서 확인하기 위함이다. 미국 플로리다 주립대학의 우주항공기계공학부와 인근에 소재한 NASA를 견학, 방문하고 관계 부처의 기술 정보 담당자들과 면담하여 수집한 정보를 정리 한 것이다.

본 사업의 최종목표는 전기철도 차량용 Active Power Filter, 기타 Power Quality 제어기기의 개발경험이 있는 중국 EPRI의 핵심 연구원을 초청하여 앞으로 우리의 기술 개발에 참고로 하고자 함. 본 사업에서 수집하는 정보는 특히 Active Power Filter의 개발에 필요한 핵심기술이며 다른 Power Quality 기기제어의 기본적인 기술임. 활용결과, 다기능 전력공급장치의 제어 및 topology개선에 기존 개발 내용과 비교 검토하여 활용, DVR 및 Active Power Filter 개발에 중국의 기술과 비교 검토하여 활용, FACTS, DSTATCOM, 기타 대전력 전력전자 응용기술에 활용. 세미나 내용 : -Four-Quardant Converter an Energy Storage -Unified Power Flow Controller -Study on Thyristor controlled series Capacitor(TCSC) for Yimin-Fengtun Power system -Inter-phase Power controller -Arc-free Voltage Regulation in power Distribution system -Power Quality & Static Var Compensation -Active Power Filter -Development and design of thyristor switched filter

본 사업은 러시아 과학자를 통한 특수의약품 개발에 관한 정보를 습득하는 과제이다. 본 사업을 통해 폐수처리에 매우 유용한 특수의약품 개발에 관한 기술정보가 수집되었다. 일일 배출량이 2,000만 톤에 달하는 폐수는 환경오염의 주요원인으로서 이의 효과적인 처리는 국가 환경계획의 핵심이다. 종래 침전제 사용법은 과다한 슬러지 생산도 문제려니와 유독한 Aromatic Hydrocarbon의 완전제거에는 거리가 먼 단점이 있다. 본 사업으로 획득된 기술정보에 의하면 PE/S계 특수약품은 위의 단점을 일시에 해결하면서 비용을 1/2로 절감하는 획기적인 기술로 판명된다. 본 기술정보를 활용하여 국내기업과 연계, 국내 기업화를 추진하는 것이 유망하다. 부록 : 원문 참고자료
