Our Lab is ‘Biological & Environmental Electronics (BEE) laboratory’. We are interested in investigating and designing new multi-functional electronic materials and structures for biological and environmental applications. Nowadays, a variety of bioinspired and biomimetic materials have been studied for lots of chemical or mechanical properties due to their specific characteristics. However, there are only few demonstrations for electronic applications through the bio-related material. This is very critical to realize future human-interface bioelectronics. We aim to identify and develop various bioinspired materials and architectures, re-create and engineer environmental electroceramics, functional polymers, and nanocomposites and finally utilize them to energy, biomedical, and eco-friendly electronics applicable to various devices.
