ㅇ 지능형 화재 및 가스안전 관리시스템 분야 첨단기술 동향

2. 사업의 목적 및 필요성
ㅇ 최근 산업과 경제가 발전함에 따라 인구가 도시로 밀집되면서 도시 건축물은 고층화 및 대형화 추세를 보이고 있으며, 건축물의 화재 초기진압 실패로 인해 점차 대형화되고, 수많은 인명 및 재산피해가 발생하고 있음(소방청의 화재사고 현황 자료에 의하면, 화재사고에 의한 재산피해 규모는 2009년 25,185 만원에서 2018년 55,973 만원으로 크게 증가).

ㅇ 따라서 화재 및 가스 사고 예방과 대형화 방지를 위해 조기감지를 통해 정확한 위치를 파악하고 화재 경보 및 대피로 안내를 통해 골든타임 내 대응을 통한 초기 화재 진압 및 인명사고 예방이 중요함.

ㅇ 기존의 단순 화재감지 및 경보시스템의 수준을 넘어, ICT 기술과의 융·복합을 통해 조기 화재감지 및 효과적 경보, 대응이 가능한 다기능, 고성능 화재 및 가스안전 관리시스템 개발 및 관련 산업 성장이 이루어지고 있음.

ㅇ 이러한 연구의 필요성 및 목적에 따라 본 연구에서는 지능형 화재 및 가스안전 관리시스템의 기술 및 개발 연구동향을 조사하고자 함.
