디지털트윈 기반 아쿠아팜 동향 및 발전 방향 스크랩

With the increasing demand for seafood and technological advancement in aquaculture, the industry has continuously grown. On the other hand, digital twins have been actively applied to various industries. Aquaculture deals with live aquatic animals that are sensitive to growth environment management. Hence, applying a digital twin to smart aquaculture may lead to a substantial economic benefit because it enables the optimization of different variables. We analyze the status of digital twin development in agriculture. The services of the aquafarm digital twin are divided into 1) data management, 2) optimization, and 3) intelligence. Standardization related to the aquafarm digital twin is also discussed. The company is also accelerating semiconductor development to guarantee a stable supply, reduce design costs, and customize semiconductors with high quality and outstanding specifications for their products to outperform devices that use general-purpose semiconductors. 메타버스 상호연동 표준화 동향 스크랩

This paper presents a review of standardization activities toward the interoperability between different metaverse platforms, which is a research hotspot in the metaverse. The metaverse is often considered as the evolution of the current mobile Internet. Like for the Internet, interoperability is essential to provide continuous user experiences over different metaverse service environments. However, current metaverses have limitations in providing interoperability in terms of portability of services, digital objects, such as identity and avatars, and economic systems. To address these limitations, the metaverse industry and open-source communities have recently begin to develop metaverse interworking standards. We describe activities conducted by various representative standardization bodies such as the Metaverse Standardization Forum, W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) Open Metaverse Interoperability, Open Metaverse Foundation, Open Metaverse Alliance for Web3, and Metaverse Alliance. Wireless communication technology has mainly been used to fulfill the demands of industrial sites at which performance is not a critical concern. However, ongoing discussions and efforts are now focused on securing core wireless communication technologies to enable the transformation or expansion of wired industrial IoT (Internet of Things) network technology into a flexible and dynamic smart manufacturing system. This paper provides an overview of current wireless industrial IoT network technology and the recent wireless time-sensitive networking technology. It outlines the challenging level of reliability required for wireless communication technology to coexist with or replace its wired counterpart in future smart manufacturing systems. Drones, which were early operated by remote control, have evolved to enable autonomous flight by combining various sensors and software tools. In particular, autonomous flight of drones was possible since the application of GNSS-RTK (global navigation satellite system with real-time kinematic positioning), a precision satellite navigation technology. For instance, unmanned drone delivery based on GNSS-RTK data was demonstrated for pizza delivery in Korea for the first time in 2021. However, the vulnerabilities of GNSS-RTK should be overcome for delivery drones to be commercialized. In particular, jamming in the navigation system and low positioning accuracy in urban areas should be addressed. Solving these two problems can lead to stable flight, takeoff, and landing of drones in urban areas, and the corresponding solutions are expected to establish a hybrid positioning technology. Advanced Air Mobility ICT 기술 현황 및 발전 방향 스크랩

In this study, the status of global advanced air mobility (AAM) was investigated to derive information and communications technologies (ICTs) that should be prepared according to directions of domestic AAM development. AAM is an urban air traffic system for moving from city to city by electric vertical take-off and landing or personal aircraft. It is expected to establish a three-dimensional air traffic system that can solve ground traffic congestion caused by the rapid global urbanization. With the full-scale commercialization of AAM solutions, high-density air traffic is expected, and with the advent of the personal air vehicle (PAV), the flight space usage is expected to expand. Governments intend to use the public warning system to deliver timely and accurate information using accessible communication technologies for protecting the population and reducing damage to life and property. In particular, many countries implement system interworking with smartphones to notify of disasters or emergencies. In Korea, since 2020, due to the influence of the coronavirus disease, frequent emergency text messages led people to turn off related notifications, and complaints for receiving irrelevant messages from nearby warning areas have increased. Therefore, technical improvements for issuing more accurate disaster information to a specific region should be devised through a geography-based emergency disaster message transmission service. Emergency numbers, such as 112 and 119, are used in many countries to connect people in need with emergency services such as police, fire, and medical assistance. We describe development directions of intelligent response technology for emergency calls. The development of this technology refers to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of response systems by using advanced methods such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics. We focus on a system that assists the receptionist of an emergency call. In the future, the recognition rate and decision-making accuracy of intelligent response technologies should be improved considering characteristics of public safety and emergency domain data. Physical rehabilitation consists of exercises that help individuals who have suffered injury, disease, or nervous system disorders to recover lost or impaired functions. The exercises need to be tailored to the degree and type of the patient's condition. To this end, a comprehensive rehabilitation data delivery system that connects medical institutions and local communities should be established, and an intelligent rehabilitation service technology should be developed. An intelligent rehabilitation service integrates and manages the patient’s health information provided by medical institutions and the overall function evaluation information measured in the community. Based on the collected data, personalized rehabilitation services can be provided. We examine supportive policies and technological trends for rehabilitation exercise and sports.
