In this paper the results of the project of mechanics of the mobile tracked robot INSPECTOR SR-10 moinly intended for pyrotechnical troops of Polish State Police are desctobed. That project performed in Industrial Institute of Measurements and Automation (PIAP) includes: the preparation of technical documentation of tje prototype of the robot for the requirements of the future users, working out the mechanical documentation of the manipulator of the border camera, performing the mechanical parts and units of the robot, assembling and testing of whole mechanics. Thd described project has been finished with the delivery of the four robots with suitable equipment for State Police. The particular parts of the robot was described and the technical performance of the robot was discused. This paper is focused on mechanics and drive systems of the robot. The problems concerned to the project of whole control system of the robot including the electrical equipment, electronics, and programming are not topics in this paper.
