과학기술진흥사업단에서 추진하고 있는 기초적 연구의 하나로 개인연구추진사업에서는 1998년도에 연구가 종료된 연구과제에 관한 사후 평가를 실시하였다. 구체적으로 대상이 된 연구과제건수는 30건이고 개별과제의 사후평가는 후에 행해진다. 영역별의 내역과 사후평가결과는 별지로 첨부되어 있다.
