Aluminum Industry Technology Roadmap 스크랩

에너지 다소비 산업의 에너지 효율화 기술개발계획 자료 An important objects of the roadmap is to understand the relationships and dependencies among research activities. In each of the four sectors, a slightly different approach is used in describing how proposed research activities should be linked within their industry segment. However, areas of similarities exist between the sectors' results and the interdependencies of research activities. For example, the need to better characterize materials and understand aluminum properties underlies technology advancement in several sectors. Producing more rice with less water from irrigated systems 스크랩

This paper emphasize the need to measure the productivity of water at farm, system, and basin levels, and to understand how the productivity at one level relates to the productivity at another. Without water balance studies to measure productivity at these different scales, it is not possible to identify the potential economic benefits of alternative interventions and the most appropriate strategies for increasing irrigation water productivity in rice-based systems.

1995년에 영국의 자국내의 환경변화연구에서 유전자 변형 식품규제에 관한 조사를 위해 녹색연합의 회합을 갖었으나 별다른 의견을 얻지 못 하였다. CSEC(Center for the Study of Environmental Change)는 이러한회합 후에 유전자 변형 식품의 일반인의 태도에 대하여 분석하였고 영국의 유전자 변형 식품및 식물에 중요한 영향을 주었다. 이 자료는 유전자 변형식품이나 환경에 있어서 불확실함에 직면하여 정치적인 결정을 할때 보다 효과적인 방향을 제시하기 위함이다. 수록내용 -Science cannot answer all the Question -"Abscence of evidence" of risks is not the same thing as "evidence of abscence" -Is GM food needed to feed the world? -A vision for agriculture -Future governance of new technologies -Six rule for a precautionary world -The challenges ahead

SENSORS & CONTROLS : Program Plan August 1998 스크랩

에너지 소비 산업의 에너지 효율화 기술개발 계획 자료 This Program plan was developed to outline the mission, objectives and goals, and technology development strategies of the Sensors and Controls(S&C)Program. With its planned inception in FY 1999, the S&C Program will aim at developing and deploying integrated measurement systems for operator-independent control of manufacturing processes with broad applicability across multiple industry sectors. The industry sectors served by the S&C Program are those that have established partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy(EERE) to collaborate in joint technology development for the competitiveness and vitality of the industry-alxo known as the Industries of the Future (IOF) Program. A 10-year life cycle(FY 1999-2009)is planned for the S&C Program to develop and deploy measurement, control, and automation producs for the materials and processing industry. As shown in Fugure 2, during the first five years, the program will focus on developing improved technology components in sensors, measuring instruments, information processing, and supervisory and communication systems. This focus will laterprogress toward advancing micro fabreication technologeies and integraing individual, advanced technology components into smart, automated control systems to achieve improved manufacturing throughput and productity. By 2009 the underlying science and technology for intelligent control systems will be significantly advanced, which is the charter of this crosscutting program. The ensuing work of customized applications of control systems will be undertaken by the industry-specific programs.
